On February 13th, the ‘Monday Munchers’ Vegetarian Supper Club will resume its series of vegetarian cooking classes after taking their summer-long break. The ‘Monday Munchers’, lead by Julie Wise, focuses largely on demonstrating how to prepare delicious healthful vegetarian dishes, as well as giving nuggets on nutrition and other more general health issues.
A distinguishing mark of the club is the emphasis on sharing together and celebrating abundant life. It is known for being an extremely welcoming and friendly environment. Admission is always free, and there is always plenty of good food to taste. “Just bring an appetite and a smile,” said supper club coordinator Julie Wise.
The ‘Monday Munchers’ is based at the Hastings S.D.A. Fellowship Room, located at 888 Terry Lane (off of Star School Road) in Hastings. It will commence on Monday, February 6th at 6:30pm, and then consecutively run the first Monday of every following month.
